ERA REAL ESTATE BROKERS AND SALES ASSOCIATES GATHERED IN EUROPE FOR GLOBAL NETWORKING
Special events unite leading ERA® brokers and sales associates from around the world

PARSIPPANY, NJ (November 9, 2001) – In a show of unity, especially poignant in light of recent world events, more than 1,000 ERA® brokers and sales associates from Europe, Asia and North America recently gathered in Amsterdam for the second ERA Pan-European Conference.

Held at the RAI Convention Center, ERA real estate professionals from 14 European countries, Japan, the United States and the Caribbean assembled in the Dutch capital to discuss industry issues and trends, share ideas and plan for future growth. A truly unique event, the conference featured seminars, updates on the latest products and services ERA Real Estate offers to its affiliates and techniques for business growth and expansion.

"In today's world, the business of residential real estate has evolved into a sophisticated global enterprise," said Brenda Casserly, president and COO, ERA Franchise Systems LLC. "The Pan-European Conference offers our real estate professionals the unique opportunity to network and exchange ideas with our international colleagues."

The conference culminated a busy two weeks for top producing ERA real estate professionals from the United States. Before heading to Amsterdam, members of the system's national advisory council met in Edinburgh, Scotland as part of the annual ERA Leadership Team's Recognition Trip. As guests of ERA Real Estate, the council's brokers and sales associates were thanked for their efforts with a variety of special events ranging from a golf outing to a black-tie dinner hosted at a Medieval castle. Attendees were named to the Leadership Team based on their outstanding achievements across criteria such as sales volume, customer satisfaction and community service.

Immediately following the Leadership Team Recognition Trip, ERA Real Estate hosted its annual President's Circle meeting at Amsterdam's renowned Okura Hotel, Oct. 24-25. The top 200 ERA® brokers were invited to participate in this event, which featured networking opportunities and idea-sharing sessions.

While attendees shared their success stories and the challenges of managing a real estate business, they also heard from guest speakers, including Robert B. Cialdini, Ph.D. During his presentation, "Six Ways to Get to Yes," Cialdini discussed several methods to help facilitate win-win transactions with customers.

In addition to meeting new colleagues and exchanging strategies for business growth, brokers took time out for sightseeing and a black-tie dinner at Kasteel de Haar, one of the largest castles in the Netherlands.
