ERA REAL ESTATE ANNOUNCES LOCATION OF ANNUAL SALES ASSOCIATE CONFERENCE
The beaches of Bermuda will be the backdrop for educational forum PARSIPPANY, NJ, January 29, 2002 - In a classic example of mixing business and pleasure, leading ERA® sales associates will travel to Bermuda this summer to be recognized for their performance, learn about new trends in the real estate industry and network with other affiliates of ERA Franchise Systems LLC. The annual "Beyond Excellence" conference will be held at the Fairmont Southampton Princess Hotel in Bermuda, July 28-31. In addition to a steady diet of educational seminars and best practice discussions, attendees for this invitation-only event will have the opportunity to network during golf outings, island excursions and evening socials. "This is an excellent opportunity for affiliates to renew and make connections with teammates from all over the country," says Brenda W. Casserly, president and COO, ERA Franchise Systems LLC. "This event also allows the top producing ERA affiliates to come together to lend their support and share techniques. It's just one of the unique programs we offer to affiliates to help them plan their business strategies." More than 300 of ERA Real Estate's top producers attended last year's conference in Napa Valley. Among them was Judy Arreola of ERA Mount Vernon Realty Co. in Sarasota (FL). She left Northern California with many useful ideas after networking with colleagues at the conference. "Not only is the location of where Beyond Excellence is held always fabulous, but the idea sharing among colleagues is well worth the trip," explains Arreola, an ERA sales professional for the past seven years. "I've been to a lot of big conventions, but there's nothing better than one-on-one networking with colleagues. I've also received some great referrals from top producers I have met at the conference." Associate Broker Pat Broyles of Pardoe Real Estate ERA in Alexandria (VA) also says she made numerous contacts at the conference. "It's the perfect combination of information and relaxation," says Broyles, a 28-year industry veteran. "I learned new ways to keep my business flowing through sharing ideas and methods with other sales professionals. I am glad that I qualified again for this year's event and I am looking forward to seeing my colleagues in Bermuda." The Beyond Excellence Conference is by invitation only. To qualify for this year's event, ERA sales associates must have achieved $3.5 million in closed sales or 35 transactions in 2001. Associate or broker teams who generated $7 million in closed transactions are also invited to participate in the program.
