PARSIPPANY, NJ, February 11, 2002 - ERA Franchise Systems LLC announced today the appointment of Stephanie Van Pelt to manager of Product Development.
Based in Parsippany, Van Pelt will oversee the development and implementation of ERA niche marketing programs, including the International Collection and Resort Properties International. She will report to P.J. Martin Smith, senior vice president of Marketing.
"Stephanie has firsthand knowledge of what it takes to market a property for the best price and terms," says Smith. "This knowledge will be invaluable, not only in the management of our niche marketing programs, but also in the development of new systems and programs for our brokers and sales associates."
Van Pelt has nearly two decades of experience in the real estate industry, which ranges from selling properties in North Jersey to assisting with relocation programs. Most recently she served as a broker/manager for Burgdorff ERA in Warren (NJ).
When she's not working in real estate, Van Pelt is busy in her community. For two years, she was Mayor of Independence Township where she developed budgets, managed town employees and conducted meetings. She also served on the township's planning board for 11 years and town council for six years.
