ERA REAL ESTATE HOSTS ANNUAL SALES ASSOCIATE CONFERENCE IN BERMUDA
Leading ERA® sales professionals will focus on education and networking July 28-31 PARSIPPANY, NJ, July 22, 2002 - Leading ERA sales associates from across the nation will meet next week in Bermuda for several days of education, networking and recognition during the annual "Beyond Excellence" conference. This year's event will be held July 28-31 at the Southampton Princess Hotel in Bermuda. It will provide an educational forum as panels of top-producing sales associates offer presentations designed to help both up-and-coming and established ERA sales associates in planning their business strategies. "Beyond Excellence offers our leading sales associates the opportunity to meet other highly successful real estate professionals and brainstorm on issues such as marketing techniques, increasing profitability and new technologies," said Brenda W. Casserly, president & COO, ERA Franchise Systems LLC. "We're looking forward to an exciting program that will offer attendees invaluable information to help build their businesses." World-class sailing expert Neal Petersen will address the group during the event's keynote presentation. Petersen sailed more than 27,000 miles to achieve his dream of racing solo around the world. He will draw upon this experience as he recounts the challenges he faced to turn his dream into a reality. Through his motivational speech, he will focus on the recurring theme that "in life there are no barriers, only solutions." The conference will also feature several seminars that will address topics ranging from "How to Read Your Customers Mind" to "Technology Solutions for Sales Associates." Author Robert L. Siciliano will present "The Safety Minute," a discussion highlighting the essentials of realty security. Siciliano's seminar will provide sales associates with the fundamentals of safety as well as security strategies for creating a safer work environment while interacting with strangers. In addition to providing a steady diet of informational sessions, the event will offer attendees several networking opportunities during idea sharing sessions, afternoon social activities and a final night dinner gala. The event is by invitation only. To qualify, sales associates must have achieved $3.5 million in closed sales or 35 transactions last year. Associate or broker teams who generated $7 million in closed sales or 70 transactions are also invited to participate in the conference.
