The best of ERA from around the globe gather in Hawaii for networking and recognition
PARSIPPANY, NJ, September 16, 2002 - The achievements of top ERA brokers and sales associates from the U.S., Japan and the Netherlands will be rewarded during the annual "Leadership Team Recognition Trip," Sept. 19-23 at the Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa on the Hawaiian island of Maui.
Sales associates and brokers are invited to attend the Leadership Team Recognition Trip based on their sales performance throughout the year. In addition to those who are invited because of their annual production, others are included because of achievements, such as customer service ratings and fundraising efforts for the brand's sponsorship of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Anna King of ERA King Real Estate Company in Anniston (AL), the ERA system's No. 1 "All-Around Selling Associate," will travel to the island of Maui to join her teammates for this year's Leadership Team Recognition Trip.
"This is one of the few times a year that I look forward to leaving my business for a few days," says King who has attended several Leadership Trips. "It's nice to be together with my ERA colleagues who are also my long-time friends. We exchange best practices while enjoying the atmosphere of a destination like Hawaii."
The ERA Gene Francis Memorial Award winner and finalists are also part of the Leadership Team Recognition Trip. The award annually honors ERA companies for excellence in the real estate industry, community involvement and business standards.
This year's Gene Francis Memorial Award winner, Neil Fischer of ERA Neil Fischer Realty & Investment, Inc. of Leesburg (FL), says he is looking forward to enjoying the fellowship of his ERA teammates in Hawaii.
"It's wonderful to have the opportunity to network with your peers one-on-one rather than just corresponding by e-mail and telephone," says Fischer, who is celebrating his 20-year ERA anniversary. "Events like the Leadership Trip and the ERA International Business Conference are valuable for personal and professional development."
The five-day program will include a state of the company address given by Brenda W. Casserly, president & COO. Attendees will also learn about new ERA initiatives and services.
