ERA REAL ESTATE ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS CONFERENCE PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR AFFILIATES
Informational sessions to provide professional and personal development for ERA® brokers and sales associates PARSIPPANY, NJ, January 13, 2003 – The ERA 2003 International Business Conference, March 13-16 in San Diego, CA, will be an opportunity for ERA affiliates to participate in a variety of educational programs and idea-sharing sessions. "This year's comprehensive curriculum will focus on techniques for building business as well as setting and attaining goals," said Brenda W. Casserly, president & COO. "We will also offer courses designed to help our membership gain a better understanding of how to utilize the brand's products and services." In an ongoing effort to help affiliates prosper, ERA Real Estate will offer seminars that focus on strategies and time-proven methods for increasing the bottom line. The schedule includes peer-to-peer idea-sharing sessions and instructor-led presentations ranging from "Solutions to the 'Toughest' Listing Objections" and "Making Customers For Life" to "Agent Assistants Do Increase Sales." The conference will also include a presentation by author and safety guru Robert L. Siciliano titled "Realty Security – Safety First and Always." Siciliano will discuss the essentials of security for real estate sales professionals. Siciliano's seminar will provide attendees with the fundamentals of safety as well as security tips for creating a safer work environment while interacting with strangers. To help affiliates gain the most from ERA products and services, several idea-sharing sessions will focus on teammates who have been successful with these tools. This roster of courses includes "Company Growth with ERA Sellers Security® Plan." The session will showcase ways for attendees to increase their marketshare with a program created to assist sellers whose current home needs to be sold to enable their next purchase. The discussion will focus on how to cultivate and capture listings and referrals from builders, and how to modify this prospecting approach for retirement communities. Other learning opportunities for ERA affiliates include a "Personal Development Series" spotlighting goal management and personal growth. For example, "Looking at Yourself from Another's Point of View" will examine 30 negative mannerisms that deflate personal power and 30 powerful mannerisms that build rapport and authority. "Real Success Lies in the Balance" will reveal a 10-step formula for balancing a successful career with a quality life. Motivational speaker Neal Petersen will host "In Life There Are No Barriers, Just Solutions," where he offers insights and motivational strategies for overcoming barriers, developing winning attitudes and creating a courageous work environment. He will recall his experiences to recount the challenges he has faced to turn his dream of sailing around the world into a reality.
