ERA REAL ESTATE TO BE FOCUS OF CONTINENTAL AIRLINES "GLOBAL TRENDS" IN-FLIGHT MEDIA PROGRAM
Segment on real estate products and services for seniors to reach millions of travelers throughout summer PARSIPPANY, NJ, June 3, 2003 – ERA Real Estate, one of the nation's leading residential real estate franchise brokerage systems, today announced it will be the feature of an upcoming segment in "Global Trends," one of Continental Airlines' in-flight media programs. "Global Trends," an in-flight video that provides information about trends and key developments in industries such as real estate, will air the ERA® segment in July and August on 767 and 777 domestic and international Continental flights. Exposure is estimated at 2.8 million viewers. The focus of the two-minute segment is the brand's products and services designed to assist one of the fastest growing segments of the real estate market - seniors. The segment features information about home financing programs and how ERA real estate sales professionals are prepared to assist mature homebuyers and sellers. It also highlights the ERA Sellers Security® Plan, a guaranteed home sale program that assures customers a sale and closing date once they meet specific requirements and accept an ERA offer. "Success in servicing the wide-ranging needs of mature homebuyers is achieved through the right combination of programs, training and marketing, " said P.J. "Through this segment, we wanted to tell the world about our commitment to helping seniors navigate the homebuying and selling process." To help its affiliates better serve the senior market, ERA Real Estate provides training and programs tailored to meet the needs of seniors as they sell or purchase property. ERA Real Estate was the first global franchise to deliver the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designation to its affiliates in a virtual classroom. The SRES® designation is offered through the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council (SAREC). Some of the topics covered during the course include tax and estate implications, financing options for mature clients, specialized marketing programs and counseling methods.
