ERA® REAL ESTATE SCORES AN ACE IN ORLANDO FOR THE CLAY COURT CHAMPIONSHIP Parsippany, NJ (May 6, 1999) – ERA® Real Estate served up a winner in Orlando, FL at the 1999 ERA Real Estate Clay Court Championships, broadcast live on CBS on Sunday, April 25th. The tournament made its third consecutive appearance at Disney's Wide World of Sports™ Complex, and is the second oldest tennis tournament in United States history. The tournament featured 32 of the top men's players in the world competing in singles and doubles competition. ERA President and CEO Peter Burgdorff presented the check to singles winner Magnus Norman as part of the CBS broadcast. Jim Courier and Todd Woodbridge were victorious in the doubles tournament. As part of the 1999 Real Estate Clay Court Championships, ERA conducted a national sweepstakes promotion. Twenty winners, made up of consumers and ERA brokers, received the grand prize consisting of a four day/three night trip for two to Orlando, FL, to see the 1999 ERA Real Estate Clay Court Championships. Each grand prize consisted of round-trip airfare, resort accommodations, official ERA Real Estate Clay Court Championships merchandise, and $400 spending money.
