ERA® REAL ESTATE TO RE-LAUNCH GLOBAL EXCLUSIVES BUYING GUIDE Parsippany, NJ (March 30, 1999) – Going global with anything these days has become the standard for business. Real estate is no different, and now ERA Real Estate is bringing its customers an opportunity to survey real estate in over 19 countries and territories with its re-launch of Global Exclusives, an international buyers guide. ERA was the first real estate franchise to expand its business beyond the boundaries of North America 17 years ago. Now, more than ever, the global capabilities of ERA are a much-prized asset. The new Global Exclusives will spotlight each ERA member country with a profile of its attractions and representative samples of available properties. The overview will include a description of the country's economics, culture, geography, etc., as well as information on ERA companies and appropriate photographs. The first copy of Global Exclusives debuted to much acclaim in March at this year's ERA International Business Conference in San Diego. Copies of Global Exclusives are being distributed to all eligible ERA affiliates in the U.S., and to major franchisers in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. The initial test-launch of Global Exclusives took place in 1996. It was soon determined that adjustment needed to be made in order to make the publication more effective for brokers and consumers. Burgdorff proposed a new approach to the project, and won majority support from the ERA International Advisory Board. "It's a coffee table-quality piece," says Burgdorff.
