ERA REAL ESTATE ENABLES CONSUMERS TO SEARCH PROPERTY LISTINGS ON TRULIA.COM, A LEADING REAL ESTATE SEARCH ENGINE
PARSIPPANY, N.J. and SAN FRANCISCO (September 19, 2006) – ERA Real Estate has announced a comprehensive system-wide test marketing agreement with San Francisco-based Trulia, a leading real estate search engine company. This new relationship will allow easier consumer access to more than 76,000 ERAŽ-represented property listings at Trulia.com using the firm's vertical search technology that directs consumers to the complete property listing information on ERA.com. Launched in 2005, Trulia is delivering close to one million consumer visitors to broker and sales associate Web sites per month. "We are excited about integrating Trulia.com into the 'ERA Technology Advantage' portfolio of consumer-friendly information search tools," said Brenda W. Casserly, president and CEO of ERA Real Estate. "ERA Real Estate is committed to delivering the right tools to our brokers and sales associates. Trulia helps us to cost-effectively promote our franchisee's listings assets to consumers online by driving traffic to the ultimate destination, ERA.com." The Trulia site offers consumers a highly intuitive user interface that simplifies searches and leads to more high quality click-throughs to the complete property information on broker and agent's own branded sites. In addition, Trulia's interactive mapping has been especially effective in promoting property listings by making it easier and faster for home buyers to search through listings and find the home that is right for them. The net result is that, over the last four months, Trulia has experienced 50 percent month-over-month growth in average number of unique visitors per month.
